Hello, my name is Tom Schear, the owner, writer, head of marketing, finance, and every other department of CCMS, including the one who walks the office mascot, Claire.

I have worked in addictions and mental health counseling as a counselor, clinical supervisor, program manager, and college instructor teaching psychology, sociology, and ethics courses.

Educationally, I have a B.A., M.A. & Ph.D. in Social Work and an M.A. in Counseling and I graduated from Coach University and am

• A Licensed Mental Health Counseling (LMHC),
• A Certified Master Business Coach,
• Certified Master Life Coach and
• A Certified NLP Practitioner

I started Counseling, Coaching & Mentoring Services(CCMS) in March 1998 in order to better utilize my skills, knowledge, interests, and talents by providing:

1. Home-study continuing education courses for helping professionals;
2. Life and business coaching services offered online; 
3. Writing books on ethics, alcoholism, addiction, and related topics interest me.
